Hazard Assessment, Elimination and Controls

​8 Hour industry certificate for entry level Participants
$199/person

• Review Part 2 of the Alberta OHS code especially any of the 2018 changes
• Assess a work site and identify existing and potential hazards before work begins at the work site or prior to the construction of a new work site.
• Identify and Report methods used to eliminate or to control the hazards 
• Perform a tail board daily
• Report hazards to employer following companies policies and procedures
• Determine the differences between unsafe condition, unsafe act, near miss and an accident
• Complete a FLHA or Field Level Hazard Analysis
• Understand when an Hazard Assessment requires updating and the process that is needed to ensure everyone’s safety
