Hearing Conservation and Job Specific PPE    

​8 Hour industry certificate for entry level Participants
​$199/person

• Review Part 16 of the Alberta OHS code
• Review Part 18 of the Alberta OHS code
• Identify those hazards that may exhibit excessive noise
• Identify the controls including engineering, administrative and PPE necessary to eliminate or to reduce exposure
• Post and follow all suitable warning signs in work areas that exceed industry levels or 85 dBA
• Describe how to select, use and maintenance of hearing protection devices to be worn by workers
• Describe the necessary PPE required for each specific hazard identified on your FLHA
• Inspect, wear and maintain your PPE according to provincial, CSA, manufacture and company requirements
