WHMIS and Hazardous Substances

​8 Hour industry certificate for entry level Participants
​$175/person

• Review Part 29 of the Alberta OHS code
• Describe what are the controlled products used at your specific worksites
• Ensure that each controlled product has a appropriate and up to date MSDS
• Identify the various labels used in WHMIS such as supplier and work site labels
• Identify the content required on a material safety data sheet (MSDS)
• Identify the safe method of storing, using, handling each of your controlled products
• Describe and demonstrate the emergency response actions in the event of a fugitive emission or spill
